Home again, home again jiggity jog

We said farewell to most of our crew on Tuesday evening while thirteen of us ventured on to Jordan to see Petra and Mt Nebo. Or fellow pilgrims arrived safe and sound the other day, and now we have too.

The remainder of us are now safely home on US soil once again. We have made our way through the very thorough customs check in Philadelphia, and are winging our way back to Chicago. We are a little travel weary, but nothing a good dose of caffeine can’t fix; and of course a warm bath.

Thank you for your prayers. As with any pilgrimage or travel abroad, this will take many weeks of prayer and processing to come to appreciate all that we have seen and taken part of.

We will hold an adult forum at St. Michael’s Church on Sunday, March 17 at 10:30 to share some of our stories with the congregation, and stories of other fellow print pilgrims who have been there over the last two years.
