From South Bend to Southwest

What is a border? A boundary is made by whom and for what? Who decides how it’s maintained or kept or changed? Our group of Indiana pastors made it here to San Diego tonight. We crossed a half dozen states not to mention TSA security checkpoints. Tomorrow we go “south of the border” and cross another, yet very different boundary. But our query, which opens possibilities in hopes that more grace may abound, is to really wonder, what is a border? How and why and for what does it exist?

So excited for you and your pilgrimage! I’m eating a bowl of ghost pepper salsa in your honor and looking forward to following along. I hope and pray it will be beautiful and challenging and everything the Holy Spirit intends for you!
